Private Bora Bora Lagoon Experience

About This Experience
This is a private 3.5-hour lagoon cruise with La Plage Tours, and the plan is yours. The captain offers to circle the island and stop wherever you like, for as long as you like, while a Tahitian guide shows you the lagoon and swims with you for comfort and safety. Recent reviewers describe snorkeling at a coral garden, with eagle rays, stingrays and blacktip sharks, and some saw manta rays, though no sighting is guaranteed.
Snorkeling equipment and beach towels are provided free, and fresh drinks, bottled water and sodas are served on board the White Shark boat. Snacks are not included, so bring something if you get hungry. Pickup is available, or you can meet the boat at the start point. The tour needs good weather; if it is cancelled for weather you are offered another date or a full refund.
It suits families, couples travelling together and anyone who wants to set the pace, and it is listed as suitable for all fitness levels. A reviewer travelling with a 4-year-old praised how closely the captain watched the child. It is not recommended for travellers with spinal injuries, pregnant travellers or those with poor cardiovascular health. The closest shared alternative on this site is the H2O half-day small-group snorkeling tour (47108P1), also 3.5 hours, from $130 per person.
In September 2026 the price is from $610 per boat for up to 4 guests on Viator, not per person, rated 4.9 from 171 reviews. Check the live price for your date before you book.

What Travelers Say
Rated 4.9/5 by 171 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
Had a great trip going all around Bora Bora by boat. Our guide took us to some great snorkel stops. The corral garden he took us to was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour.

The best money I have ever spent on an excursion! If snorkeling with sharks and rays is on your bucket list, this is the tour to take in Bora Bora. Our captain Ken, was accommodating of all our needs ensuring that we had a fabulous time!
— Andy J, Sep 2026
The captain is very good, but the company didn't treat us fairly. A day before the trip they told us that there was an issue and provided us two other alternate dates and times. We came with a cruise ship and stayed in Bora Bora for a day only.
